In 1935, when Monsieur Danton opened his office in Paris, he could not imagine the fantastic venture he was about to launch. The Parisian brand tapped into the public markets of the city of Paris, the S.N.C.F (railway) or even the R.A.T.P. (the parisian underground).
Danton clothing was also retailed through countless independent boutiques specializing in quality workwear.
From the 1940s, Danton was distributed by the A L'Ouvrier store based in front of the Boulevard de la Villette aerial metro station.
Today the oldest French workwear store in Paris moved to 92 rue de Turenne in "Le Marais", and keeps offering, among other cutting-edge workwear names, the Danton brand.
A L'O - 1905 - Paris Paris is located in a lively and historic district of Paris. Find more information about the historic boutique on its website: www.alo.paris .
